The church is people. People who have a diversity of background, interest, and experience but have a common purpose. That purpose is to share the good news that is embodied in the Lord Jesus Christ. We share Jesus through worship, through ministry, through fellowship and through witness. As Oak Grove Baptist Church moves into the 21st century, let us recommit ourselves to truly be People Sharing Jesus.

If Oak Grove is to be a"1st Century Church in a 21st Century World" we must use the same power that the first church at Jerusalem used. We can have the right pattern, and we can believe the right principals, but without the right power, nothing will happen. That power is God's power given to us through the person of the Holy Spirit.
