The Bible Tells Us How We Can Have a Home in Heaven

God's Purpose...

is that we have eternal life."For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." JOHN 3:16

Our Need…

Our sinful nature keeps us from fulfilling God's purpose. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."ROMANS 3:23"For the wages (payment) of sin is death..." ROMANS 6:23

God's Provision…

God provided forgiveness for our sin through Jesus Christ. "Jesus said unto him, 'I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." JOHN 14:6

Our Response...We must repent of our sin. "Repent therefore and return, that you sins may be wiped away..." ACTS 3:19 We must surrender to Jesus as Lord. "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved..."ROMANS 10:9

Call upon the Lord and ask Him to cleanse you and to save you. "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." ROMANS 10:13

Please read this prayer and see if it is what you want to say to God.

Dear Lord, I believe you are the Son of God, and that you died on the cross and were raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I turn from my sins and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for saving me.

Call upon the Lord in repentance, faith and surrender, using these or similar words of your own; and Jesus will become your Savior and Lord.
